Press Release Summary: On the occasion of it's fifth anniversary, the Founder of the
very popular Academy of Broadcasting has termed it a huge success.

Press Release Body: "It has been now very successful five years from the day when
our very first batch of would-be Radio Jockeys went 'On-Air' on a show written,
produced and recorded by themselves. It seems so far, but yet so close, I remember
each every line they recorded and the joy on their faces when they first heard their
voice resounding through the speakers," reminiscences a very satisfied Hardeep
Chandpuri, the Founder of the Academy of Broadcasting. He had his first brush with
FM radio in 1986 when his uncle got him some recorded FM tapes of Casey Kasem's
American Top 40 countdown. Taking inspiration from there he recorded his first
studio tape with FM-like content using his own voice as a Radio jockey in the year
1991 (which was the first effort of it's kind in India), the tape no doubt was an
instant hit and after that a number of tapes followed. After taking one-to-one
training from the legendary Bill Singer of the USA, he started the Academy of
Broadcasting in 2003. Today, the academy is in various stages of setting up more
tahn 14 branches all over the country."The major strength of our Radio Jockey
training programme has been our students who have worked really hard and are well
settled in their careers in the radio industry", he remarks. With many more radio
stations coming up in the near future and the high demand for voice professionals
needed for the animation, film, IVRS industry, it seems to be a road well travelled
for India's oldest RJ Training Academy.
